Board Member Biography: Jason Kent

Jason Kent 

Jason Kent joined American Express in 2004 where he currently serves as the Director for Global HR Development and Communications. In this role, he is responsible for “HR for HR” initiatives, including the learning and development and communication strategy for the global human resources population. During his tenure at American Express, he has led numerous sales and leadership development programs, provided coaching to senior management and has served as a key contact for technology driven training strategies across the company. Prior to joining American Express, Jason was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and an Assistant Vice President at New York Life where he was responsible for various global training and technology initiatives.

A certified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs assessment tool and Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, Jason received his B.A. in English from Rutgers University where he currently serves as a member of the Rutgers Alumni Career Network. He has also earned a Certificate in Corporate Training from New York University and is currently pursuing his M.A. in Adult Education at Columbia University.
